Rental Policies

Full rental fee plus security deposit is collected before release of equipment. Deposit is refunded within 24 hours of return if equipment is undamaged, clean, and the fuel level is the same as pickup. Damages, missing fuel, or excessive cleaning required may be deducted from the deposit.

Care & Usage

To ensure optimal performance and safety, please follow our daily upkeep and cleaning guidelines. Equipment should be checked for fluid levels before each use and kept free of debris. Always operate machinery within its rated capacity and stop immediately if unusual sounds or vibrations occur.

Damage & Loss

The lessee is fully responsible for any equipment breakdown, accident, or damage occurring during the rental period. In the event of an issue, please notify us immediately. Our team will assess the condition upon return, and any repair or replacement costs exceeding normal wear and tear will be deducted from the security deposit or billed accordingly.

  • Renter is fully responsible for any damage, loss, or theft during the rental period.
  • Repair or replacement costs due to negligence include parts, labor, and downtime.
  • Equipment must be returned in the same condition as when rented (normal wear expected).
  • A $40 cleaning fee applies if equipment is not returned clean.
  • A $25 refueling fee plus fuel cost applies if returned with less fuel than at pick-up.
  • Late fees: $25 per hour for the first 4 hours; $100 per day thereafter.
  • Delivery/Pickup: $40 within 10 miles, or $75 within 25 miles.

Return Procedures

To ensure a smooth return and full deposit refund, please follow these standardized procedures for all equipment returns at BP Contracting LLC.

Cleanliness

Equipment must be returned clean and free of excessive debris. A cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit if significant washing is required.

Fueling

All gas-powered equipment must be returned with the fuel level at the same point as pick-up. Missing fuel will result in a refueling charge deducted from the deposit.

Inspection

A joint inspection will be performed upon return. If equipment is undamaged, the full security deposit is refunded within 24 hours.
